Clarkson’s Farm has aired the terrifying moment Jeremy Clarkson suffered a medical emergency just years after he was rushed to the hospital for his heart. The popular Prime Video series has finally returned with its highly anticipated fifth season, and this time, the pressures around the Diddly Squat Farm and his Farmer’s Dog pub took a scary toll on the 66-year-old’s health. During an episode, Jeremy struggled to breathe after ignoring the doctor’s orders and continued with strenuous work.
This comes after his 2024 heart scare, in which Jeremy was rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he was told he was just “days away” from a potentially lethal heart attack. As a result, the Top Gear icon was instructed to avoid driving for a week and not to do any manual labour for six weeks.

During the second episode of series five, which landed on Prime Video on Tuesday (June 3), Jeremy decides to go and cut down a tree for his Christmas grotto at his pub.
Despite the warnings, he proceeds without assistance, lies down on the ground, starts cutting the tree with a handsaw, but is soon forced to stop as his breathing becomes ragged.
Jeremy eventually gives up, and a visibly in pain expression is etched on his face. The star stands back up and struggles to regulate his breathing for a few moments.
Between strained breaths, the 66-year-old admits to the film crew: “I shouldn’t have done that.”

The presenters also opened up about being just “days away from death” in the upcoming opening episode of Clarkson’s Farm series five, revealing that he received an alert about a potentially deadly condition when he was browsing on his phone.
“I was scrolling on my phone. If I hadn’t been doing that, I wouldn’t have gotten pins and needles in my arm,” he reveals to farm manager Kaleb Cooper in the series opener.
“If I hadn’t got pins and needles, I wouldn’t have gone, ‘Hang on, am I having a heart problem?’ and wouldn’t have gone to hospital.”
Medical scans subsequently uncovered serious coronary issues, with the TV presenter learning from doctors that a heart attack had been merely “days” away.
Jeremy underwent a life-saving procedure in October 2024, where surgeons fitted two stents.
