A “very binge-worthy” thriller with an iconic cast needs to be The Dark fans’ next watch. The Dark has taken over ITV’s primetime 9pm slot on Sundays and Mondays, delving into the disturbing world of a detective embarking on a hunt for a serial killer in the Scottish Highlands.
Author GR Halliday’s From the Shadows TV remake continues tonight, Sunday, July 19, but there is another serial killer drama that’s been hailed as the “best thriller ever”. Set in the heart of Belfast, this psychological drama delves into the parallel lives of two hunters: a detective tracking down a serial killer and the family man who secretly targets professional women.

Originally airing on BBC Two more than 10 years ago, The Fall is now ready to stream on Netflix and it stars two Hollywood icons.
Taking on the role of Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson is The X-Files and Sex Education icon Gillian Anderson.
Meanwhile, serial killer Paul Spector is brought to life by none other than Jamie Dornan, famed for leading the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.
And going by fans’ reactions on IMDb, The Fall is “TV at its best”.
Describing it as “incredible”, a user posted: “A fantastic thriller. Not seen anything as good as this ever. Addictive and a must-watch!
