Elizabeth Rizzini forecasts blustery winds and showers
Weather presenter Elizabeth Rizzini shared her horror after an incident at Wimbledon. The meteorologist, who presents the forecast on BBC London News, revealed a beverage had landed over her.
The mum-of-two recalled the moment she was left unimpressed at Wimbledon.
Elizabeth often presents the weather forecast at the annual event which she admittedly loves to front.
The on-screen broadcaster admitted security had to step in following the incident.

“Not live on-air but in the dress rehearsal.”
She continued: “The following year they were checking people’s bags to see how much alcohol they were bringing in. It was a party year that one.
“Some guy thought it would be really funny to pour his drink over me so I was a bit wet when we went on-air.”
As the on-screen star delivered her weather update, Elizabeth said security was soon on hand.

“There was a big burly security guard standing right behind me just out of shot,” she admitted.
The weather presenter often fronts the forecast at Wimbledon but was missing this year.
The forecaster explained that the BBC had not been issued with as many media passes as previous years.
Meanwhile, the mum-of-two admitted she would love the opportunity to work nationally.

Elizabeth explained: “I do currently work at a regional level but I would love to do it at a national level. I haven’t been asked.”
The regional forecaster addressed her colleague Owain Wyn Evans, who has replaced Carol Kirkwood in the weekend slots on BBC Breakfast.
Elizabeth is “very excited” for him but added it’s “difficult for me to get noticed”.
“Owain Wyn Evans is based in Salford so he’s done [BBC Breakfast],” she commented.
“He’s in a very good position to do it and he doesn’t have to move anywhere.”
She went on: “Everyone loves him and we’re all excited for him. He’s really enjoying it.”
She added: “I’m based in London. It will be more difficult for me to get noticed.”
