Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan’s marriage looked like a tale of two halves this week — as Richard soaked up the blazing sunshine in Australia while his wife appeared downbeat back in chilly London.
The former This Morning hosts are spending the run-up to Christmas apart, with Richard tied up in the jungle for three weeks on I’m A Celeb: Extra Camp.
Richard Soaks Up the Sun
While in between filming duties, Richard, 61, seemed to be making the most of his time Down Under. He stripped off his shirt, wearing only denim shorts, as he worked on his golden tan.
Relaxing in a chair, he was spotted clutching scripts before abandoning work altogether to give himself a shoulder massage. His freshly lightened highlights caught the sun as he ruffled his hand through his locks, showing off his “revamped” look that viewers have already commented on during the ITV2 spin-off.

The TV veteran certainly looked chilled, relishing the Australian heat while fans praised him for his energy on-screen.
Judy Alone in the Cold

Back in the UK, Judy Finnigan cut a stark contrast. Braving the freezing weather, she was pictured running errands in London, dressed in black with a heavy coat and striking red shoes.

Carrying a large bag, she wore a pained expression and kept her gaze firmly on the ground. Despite indulging in a spot of shopping, she couldn’t raise a smile. Onlookers couldn’t help but notice how subdued she appeared without her husband by her side.
Jungle Triumphs

Meanwhile, Richard was riding high in Australia after impressing viewers during a Bushtucker Trial. While fellow contestant Amir Khan, 30, screamed and gave up after grabbing a snake, Richard sailed through the challenge.

The only time he flinched was when he realised he was crawling through stinging green ants. “Yeah, I can feel them — they really hurt,” he admitted. Still, he managed to collect all eight keys and rescued Joe from the coffin, winning fans’ praise in the process.
For Richard, the jungle is proving to be a chance to shine. For Judy, left in the cold back home, it’s been a lonelier run-up to the festive season.
