Will Kirk appeared on Morning Live on Wednesday to discuss the 15th series of The Repair Shop.
Last week, BBC audiences witnessed the comeback of the cherished long-standing programme, The Repair Shop, as the workshop welcomes visitors for a 15th series.
With the second instalment of the latest run broadcasting tonight (February 4), regular specialist Will Kirk featured on Morning Live to hint at what lies ahead.
This follows after one visitor to the programme last week became emotional when their treasured possession was restored.
In a teaser segment, viewers glimpsed an antique wooden keyboard that previously belonged to Dave Greenfield, a member of The Stranglers.
Now owned by a gentleman named Toby, Will shared with Gethin Jones and Louise Minchin the instrument’s background after it travelled globally with the group, reports Gloucestershire Live.
Will spoke about the behind the scene secret on the BBC show (Image: BBC)Reflecting on his tenure on the programme now, approaching ten years, Gethin asked whether he experiences anxiety about having to repair objects.
He responded: “Yes, always, even now! I don’t want to break the illusion; however, before anything comes into the barn, we get to see one or two photos of it.
“Just to give us an idea as to whether we can restore it or not. The terrifying thing is when it comes through the barn doors, and it arrives on the bench there.

Nevertheless, the BBC presenter revealed that once they discover the heartfelt narratives connected to the possessions, they’re incapable of refusing. He continued, “It adds an extra level of pressure in getting it fixed.”
During another part of their conversation, Will discussed his ongoing house refurbishment after relocating from London to Surrey with his wife, Polly and their two children.
