Coleen Nolan has hit back at allegations from her son’s ex-girlfriend that she is a ‘cruel bully’ . The Loose Women star’s son Shane’s ex-girlfriend, Emma Kivell also claimed the presenter would call her ‘every name under the sun’.

Emma and Shane met in 2015 through mutual friends and the following year welcomed a child together, daughter, Amelia-Rose. Though the pair were not in a relationship, it was reported that Shane had pledged to help Emma as a single mother after their baby was born – with Coleen even present at the birth.

But Emma claims that grandmother Coleen, though initially supportive, changed over time and alleged: ‘Coleen actually stopped seeing Amelia-Rose for a while because she was not willing to go to my house.’

Emma also claimed that the situation was a contributing factor to her having a breakdown. She told The Sun: ‘She’d call me every name under the sun, like ‘you jealous b***h’, and she was vile.

But now a spokesperson for Coleen has exclusively told the Mirror, “Our client strongly disputes the allegations, which are inaccurate and misleading.”

They added, “They are presented without the necessary context and arise from a contested private family matter. It is inappropriate to report on such matters, particularly where doing so risks involving a child.”

Just a few months ago amid the family feud, Emma had launched a furious missive at Coleen’s alleged ‘toxicity and pettiness’ as the family feud rumbles on. It was previously alleged that Coleeen had been unable to see Amelia Rose for almost seven years.

In September, Shane insisted on social media that he had been paying child maintenance and even raised his contributions after not being able to offer support during the pandemic, telling fans: I would never not pay. We miss her and can’t wait for one day for her to be in our lives.’

Emma hit back furiously however in a social media post, claiming that Shane – hadn’t ‘made any real effort to be involved’ in his daughter’s life. She wrote: ‘He’s never asked how she is, how she’s doing, if she needs anything, not even a message during the height of COVID. Financial support stopped during that time too, and only resumed because of court enforcement.’

She also alleged that Shane was blocked from seeing his daughter as a result of ‘breaches’ to court orders. Speaking about the Nolan side of the family directly, Emma went on to say: ‘She doesn’t need your pettiness, or the toxicity from your side of the family.”

It was revealed last summer that Shane Jnr was in a new romance with mortgage manager Kimberley Sallis, who has a 12-year-old daughter – the pair welcoming s little boy with Kimberley last November.

Opening up previously about becoming a grandmother for the first time, Coleen told The Mirror: ‘They got together one night and there you go.’

She added: ‘But they’re not compatible in a relationship. Obviously, you wish they were badly in love and could see a future together. That’s the best scenario for anyone. But then I thought “Oh my God I’m going to be a nanny and was thrilled”.’

In June 2024, Coleen proudly revealed that she was set to become a granny again when she announced that her youngest lad Jake Roche was expecting a little boy with his fiancée Georgia. Her daughter Ciara Fensome welcomed a baby boy last October with her partner Max Innes.

Coleen’s gushing post at the time included the words, “I’m almost lost for words and I can barely describe the unbelievable range of emotions I’m feeling right now, love, pride, relief, happiness, to name a few.”

Shane Jnr tied the knot with former Miss Great Britain Maddie Wahdan in July 2022, after dating for six years but the following year in December 2023 they split after it was reported that Shane had cheated on Maddie.
