

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Pensacola singer Keyla Richardson showed off her incredible voice to the hometown crowd Wednesday night in Downtown Pensacola.
Richardson is one of the top three finalists on “American Idol.” American Idol producers and the city worked together to create an incredible celebration in just days.
“KeylaFest” drew thousands to downtown. Her life and her son Drew’s life will never be the same.
“Don’t let nobody tear down your dreams because the only person stopping you is you,” Drew said.
“I just want to say shout out to the KeyHive, that means everybody that supported me, that’s been loving on me, praying for me,” said Keyla. “Y’all vote Monday. Look, I’m trying to bring it home, bring home the win to Pensacola. Thank you so much.”
The overflow crowd from the Hunter Amphitheater filled the adjacent Blue Wahoos Stadium, where the concert was simulcast on the jumbotron.
Thousands of fans were inside Blue Wahoos Stadium to see the concert live. The stadium served as an overflow arena for the concert. It was filled with fans who were excited to hear Keyla.
The stadium offered 6,000 extra seats, and they were all sold out Wednesday evening.
The concert will be included in Monday’s broadcast of American Idol. Fans WEAR News spoke to are rooting for keyla to win it all.
Four-thousand tickets were sold at the Hunter Amphitheater. They sold out in 45 minutes when they became available last week.
