Gogglebox’s Roisin Kelly and Joe were firm favourites on the Channel 4 show before their axe – but what have they been up to since?
The couple made their debut on the programme back in February 2022, making history as the first Scottish couple to feature on the show – and it didn’t take them long to win over viewers.
Over the years, Roisin and Joe – who live in Glasgow – have had fans in stitches thanks to their hilarious one-liners and comical takes on the telly highlights.
However, in July 2025, Roisin revealed that they had been dropped from the show leaving fans gutted. Roisin and Joe released a statement on social media, sharing how they “couldn’t be more grateful” to Studio Lambert for welcoming them onto the show back in 2022.
“The experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching tv with you all on Friday nights! It’s been an honour to represent Scotland as some of the first Scottish people on the show and prove we don’t actually need subtitles,” they said.
Roisin later opened up about her Gogglebox axe in a TikTok video. She said: “Obviously Gogglebox was back on last night and we seen a lot of comments saying ‘where are Joe and Roisin’. We were ‘brutally axed’.
“We weren’t asked back to do series 26. They had just said they wanted to take the show in another direction, away from our house. There’s not really any lore or any stories to it.”
Since their exit, the couple have had to face another major life update, with a heartbroken Roisin revealing they had moved out of their beloved flat in September 2025.
On Instagram, Roisin shared a video including before-and-after clips of sections of the flat. She captioned the post: “Oh I will miss you flat.” And revealing her sadness, Roisin replied to a follower in the comments section with several heartbreak emojis and sobbing face emojis.
The TV star has continued to keep fan updated on her life, with Roisin often sharing moments from her day-to-day life, including nights out with pals and trips abroad.
And recently, Roisin uploaded a video to her TikTok of her showing off her outfit before going to see Olivia Dean live in concert. And fans couldn’t get enough of her new hair, with Roisin rocking highlighted locks and braids at the front.
“Your hair is insane,” said one person. Someone else added: “Your hair looks stunning!!.” A third penned: “Loovvveee your hair.”
Regarding Joe, he doesn’t seem to have a social media presence, but Channel 4 previously revealed he enjoys gaming, creating pizza and spending quality time with Roisin.
