Meghan Markle hits back after claims she made a diva-like demand for her possible return to the UK. With the Invictus Games being held in Birmingham next year, Meghan could be set to join Prince Harry in the UK for the one-year countdown event this summer.
Speaking of the “demand” claim, a source close to the Sussexes said: “This is a complete fabrication. Nothing about it is true. No demands like this have ever been made.”
Speaking of Meghan, a source told Rob Shuter on his Naughty But Nice Substack that the 44-year-old is keen to be “in total control” when it comes to the visit – adding that she even made a diva-like demand in the form of requesting that none of her staff are “allowed to look at her”.

As well as requesting a “fleet of luxury cars”, they added: “This isn’t just protection. She’s asking for a fortress. Bulletproof glass at the Games, armed security everywhere she goes”.
Another insider also added that “anyone who has any interaction with her has to call her ‘Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex’. No exceptions.”
With Prince Harry feeling hopeful that his police protection in the UK will be getting reinstated this year, the couple’s two children- six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet – could also join their parents on the trip.
Earlier this week, Meghan released her first As Ever product of 2026.
