BREAKING NEWS: ITV’s Loose Women Taken Off Air After Presenter Makes Important Announcement.

The show, which typically broadcasts on weekdays following This Morning at 12:30pm, will not be shown on Thursday and Friday (July 9 and 10) owing to sports programming.

During the most recent instalment of the show (July 8), host Ruth Langsford was accompanied by Kelly Brooke, Janet Street Porter and Brenda Edwards as they discussed the day’s top stories. Nevertheless, as the programme drew to a close, the 66-year-old revealed that the show would not return to screens for the remainder of the week.

She said: “That is it from us for today and for this week, actually, as we’re off for ITV’s coverage of the races. We’ll be back next Monday as usual at 12:30.”

On Thursday, audiences will watch Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani host the racing fixture live from Newmarket, reports OK!

The broadcast will commence at 1:00pm, meaning This Morning will run for an additional 30 minutes, before concluding in the late afternoon at 4pm.

Last month, Loose Women underwent a comparable adjustment when it went on hiatus for the Royal Ascot festival, which started on Tuesday, June 16, and concluded on Saturday, June 20.

At the conclusion of Friday’s episode (July 3), she stated: “That’s all from us for now. I am away for a wee while. I’ll really miss you, but I will see you very, very soon.”

The return date for the long-running programme remains unclear at this stage.

ITV implemented several alterations to its daytime programming at the start of the year, with Lorraine being reduced from an hour to 30 minutes. Additionally, both Lorraine and Loose Women now broadcast for 30 weeks annually, down from their previous 52-week run.
